In Loving Memory Poems

Daring Time

- by Els van den Eynde

You granted me childhood
Allowed me to err

You showed me life
Revealed its secrets

You read my soul
Unwarranted love

Then you left…

A right reclaimed
and granted
a thousandfold

*******

Time now transferred
into a gate onto the future

And beyond that gate
The future already began!

In Loving Memory – Poem by Els van den Eynde

A poem for a loved one passed away…

Memory
Memory is a melody
Replicated in semitone
A da capo performed in diminuendo
the last dying note vanishing, unnoticed

And we wish
for the melody
not to pass out of existence
but to transfer to another space
where it obtains
forever
