A few seconds ago I saw your face

A few seconds ago I felt your touch

A few seconds ago I met your gaze

…… just a few seconds ago.

& now you’re gone….

Gone to make a new world your own

To spread your beauty & love

Within a few seconds you shall embrace eternity into your beautiful arms

A few seconds ago….

Just a few seconds ago, I had your hands in mine

A few seconds ago your eyes were before me with their exquisite shine

A few seconds ago your love met my heart

A few seconds ago you separated your self from me to make a start

& now your gone….

Mind, body & soul

Away from its other half, leaving me incomplete forever

In a few seconds I lost what I could never think of living without

A few seconds ago the world was beautiful

A few seconds ago life was colourful

A few seconds ago the earth was firm below my feet

A few seconds ago Heaven was here before my eyes

And now your gone…

Leaving before me….. hell

A hell that I have to live in

A life that I have to live out

An earth that I have to endure

Why my beloved would you punish me so,

to live on,

even for a few seconds after you are gone!!!

A man full of love, enthusiasm, and benevolence,
A man who was greatly honored as the King of Nation,
This dedicated man carried forward to fought for victory,
He has the key that opens every door all over the country.
This man was the seed of Martin Luther King’s Dream,
An incredible dream that everyone has ever seen,
A man was born to be a dream to every boy and girl,
He taught us the lesson learning that we are the world,
This man was the true Archangel that is undefeated,
And as an American Gangster he just beat it.
This man still standing for everyone: Black and White,
He may be gone to a better place, but we’ll remember the time,
The truth is that he has learned how to love and give,
Within our hearts he is Forever King that still lives.
This Invincible man is the Baddest of the Bad,
So much more Radical than any man of the land,
A man is totally has the Thrill of Thriller,
That has the sweetest words that feeds the little birds.
It’s always a thoughtful moment for this man was sent from above,
And his story teaches us History that fits tight like his white glove,
This man has music that’s buried deep down in his soul,
And he has been crowned jeweled from head to toe.
America, we know now that this man didn’t die in vain,
But in the remembrance of Michael Jackson, Man in the Mirror,
He Is The Man!!

By: Jon Rodger Weston Dinnebeil

Our love was slowly dying,
And to this very day.
I regret all of the problems,
because now, you’re gone away.
I still here you whisper,
My name so soft and dear.
And though I cannot see you,
I know you’re watching near.
I feel our love still burning,
So deep inside my soul.
Filling every crevice,
Drowning every hole.
All the good times and the bad,
Still linger even after.
I still hear your giggle,
I’ll never forget your laughter.
Our love is something more to me,
Than kisses and and holding hands.
You said you always wanted wings,
Now you’re soaring above the lands.
So to end my tearful reminiscing,
I have one thing I need to say.
No matter what worlds fall between us,
I love you to this very day.

“I love you DJ, and I am sorry that it took you no longer being here for me to value that love. If you could only be here now to hold my hand one last time, I know that in that very moment of solitude and stillness, that we would not be afraid of what people have to say to us, and our love. I know you’re looking down on me, with your beautiful sapphire-blue eyes, from somewhere up above. Smile for me, okay? Smile that beaming smile and light everyone’s day. Light every corner that I am backed into, and every turn that is shadowed. I miss you, but I know that you will always be in my heart when I need you. You will never be forgotten, never fade with time. You are my happiness, my hope, my inspiration and most importantly that only man I will ever love…ever. So here’s to you babe, Forever my Bousa. I love you Baby-babe, You live on in my heart.”

Sweet Love
By: Kathryn O.

The world couldn’t see
How you loved tenderly
Your touch started a fire
Of burning desire

Parting was always sweet sorrow
But we always had tomorrow
To feel your hold so strong
I knew that I belonged

You were thought to be a boy
But oh the joy
The simple things for me were best
Save the flashy for the rest

I’ll never know a love that pure
For that you can be sure
Rest now for all is calm
Your memories will be the balm
That keeps me warm at night
Until we reunite

Now that your gone
I will always long
To feel you by my side
The waves of sadness I will ride
Our commitment I’ll continue to abide
My heart is broken and will never mend
I will continue to love you to the end

I pray we’ll be together again some day
I’ll keep my wanting to join you now at bay
There must be a purpose as to why I’m still here
God has his reasons, to us not clear
Watch over me as I get through each day
Listen to me as I continually say
‘I love you’ my dear with all of my heart
It will continue to grow even though we’re apart

Where you are now is a beautiful place
More so now with your lovely face
When the sun is out and shining bright
Made possible by your smile, which is the light
I will feel the warmth that wraps all around me
With this blanket of love you are showing me
That you are gone but not far away
Always here, forever you’ll stay

Empty Room

To my love while where’re apart
I wake up nightly in the dark
I reach to find you… but you’re not there
Your beautiful smell has left the air

Now my room is dark and lonely
I start to cry for my one and only
I close my eyes to see your face
Then back to sleep with no embrace

My dreams are vivid and colorful too
The things they lack are me with you
And In the morning when I wake
That’s when my heart… begins to ache

An empty bed is where I am
Then the tears they fall again
I look at your pillow… without a wrinkle
No lovely face with eyes that twinkle

To see your face…and then embrace
Is something that will never be replaced
And now that our love has truely ended
I pray my heart…will soon be mended

Everyone should observe proper etiquette during a funeral. A death in the family or of a friend can bring out the best and the worst in people. And while you might mean, some things should be left unsaid when visiting a funeral or the home of those in mourning.

Visitors should refrain from saying things that might offend the family of the deceased. Saying that “it was time for him to go,” “he lived long enough,” “it could have been worse,” and things like this can bring more grief to those left behind.

Parents who lost a child will not want to be reminded that their offspring died ahead of them. Nor is it comforting for them to hear that it was God’s will. “You can have another one,” should definitely be avoided as well. A child who died can never be simply replaced by another.

It is proper funeral etiquette to remain mum with regards to the timing, appearances, and theology of the deceased. The death of a loved one is never a good thing, under any circumstances. Keep in mind it’s never “the right time to die,” and no one has “lived long enough” from the viewpoint of those close to them.

Speaking about religion and God’s will is against good funeral etiquette as well. This topic should be left for the professionals, such as the priests and ministers. This is usually the common mistake majority of those of us are guilty of violating proper funeral etiquette.

What a friend can truly offer is his or her sincerity, support, and comfort, during a time of grief. He should anticipate the needs of each individual. The grieving process can be unique with each family member. It is an important part of funeral etiquette to allow the grieving parties to speak their minds out. Your role is to listen to them. They themselves might even say some things that should be normally be avoided, but it is their right to do so. They are struggling in finding answers for their loss. A friend should be there and be supporting. But the most important thing to do is listen. Keep your ears open.

The next thing to do with regards to funeral etiquette is to validate what the loved one has done for the deceased. Tell them how they cared and persevered during the hard times. A person might look strong on the outside but inside he might be grieving heavily. It helps him to be reminded of the good things he did while his loved one was still alive.

Proper funeral etiquette must be observed both at a funeral, and in the homes of those in mourning. Pay attention to those who are grieving, and learn how to approach each individual. The grieving process can be short or long. It depends on how the person takes it.

It’s not only on happy occasions where you can give someone a gift. Sympathy gifts are given during sad times, such as when a loved one has met with an accident, been fired from his or her job, or lost someone close. Sometimes words can’t truly express what you really try to say. In times like these, a simple gift box to say you care, during their troubled times can mean a lot to them.

We are experiencing a global recession and some of your friends may have recently lost their jobs. You can show them that you are there for them with a simple sympathy gift. Taking some time out of your busy schedule and giving them something can greatly impact their morale.

For someone who has recently been laid off, giving something that will help meet their needs can be a blessing. Free groceries or gasoline are good choices for someone struggling with finances. But if someone is not really financially affected by the loss of job, a fun gift can do. A night out can cheer the person up.

An example of a sympathy gift is a gourmet basket. It might say something like “get well soon,” or “we sympathize for your lost more than words can say,” or the like. Sympathy gift baskets can be composed of various treats and food items. You might include chocolates, popcorn, cheese sticks, caramel corn, lemon drops, cookies, assorted fruits, and a lot more. Coffee and tea gift baskets are also usually enjoyed and cherished by the receiver.

Each sympathy gift can be unique, but finding the right one can sometimes be tedious. The choices are endless, with many selections to choose from. Custom-designed sympathy gifts can make a person feel rested and comfortable. It can lift their spirits in troubled times.

Families of the recently deceased sometimes request that people donate to the family’s chosen charity, instead of giving them bereavement or sympathy gifts. For them, the money given to a charitable institution can be put into better use than flowers which will be placed in the garbage weeks after the funeral. Plus a family can be overwhelmed with the volume of flowers sent to them during a bereavement period. But this is not always the case and it depends on the circumstances.

Sympathy gifts can be given to anyone. It can be a relative, a friend, a colleague, or even just an acquaintance. And it can definitely bring a smile back to their face. It gives them the feeling that they’re not alone in their time of sadness or hardship, and is an excellent way of showing support without the struggle of trying to find the right words.
